Janet Karam is a Texas-based artist specializing in abstract cityscape paintings inspired by cultures around the world, including city skylines, world architecture and urban-themed figurative art.

Karam's painting style isdistinguished by lively designs, expressive brushwork and liberal color application. Her style is marked by playful experimentation, funky abstraction, and unique compositions. Karam adds dimension and texture to her art in a progressive fashion by apply multiple layers of paint, thus building form with color. Karam devotes a great deal of time daily to painting and creating new works. She is a curious and experimental artist who enjoys her profession, much as a playful child discovering the world.

Karam's original artworks are created with high quality fine art materials, painted in acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Paintings are finished with painted edges and shipped ready to hang.
